The paintings all were built in different situations of my life. To work with the accidentalness at the very beginning of the painting process is one of the main influences during creating the pictures.
"Über's Wasser gehen" ist eins der ersten und wichtigsten Bilder mit Acryl auf Leinen. Wie oft habe ich das Gefühl, dass die Unterschiede zwischen Betriebswirtschaft und Kunst mir im Wege stehen und dass das Eis unter meinen Füssen dünn ist, solange ich versuche beiden gerecht zu werden. Trotzdem ist das mein Weg, das Vereinbaren von Alltäglichen mit Besonderem, die Kunst, die den Alltag belebt. Ein Weg, der für mich immer wieder eine Gratwanderung, aber ebenso Motivation und Herausforderung ist.
"Walking on Water" is one of the first and most important pictures I ever painted with acrylic colours on linen. I often feel hindered by the different ways people are acting in management, arts and music. To live with all these persons seems to be like walking on a frozen lake when the ice just starts to be thick enough. But nevertheless this is my way: to create understanding between usual and extraordinary experiences, to create paintings and music that enrich daily life. A way that is a challenge for me every day.
